Mấy năm nay, cứ đến tháng 10, tôi hay chờ để xem Trường Đại học Princeton có được Nobel không. Vì Princeton chính là trường con trai tôi theo học.

Mấy hôm trước, tin Giáo sư Paul Krugman đoạt Nobel, tôi vội email cho con trai "Con biết tin chưa? Con biết ông đó không?” Và gần như liền tức thì, nhận reply của con trai " Con biết ông này chứ. Rất nổi tiếng.Đã được nhiều giải thưởng cao quí, và tất nhiên, Nobel sẽ là một phần thưởng vô cùng xứng đáng. Nobel Hóa học của Osamu Shimomura cũng có liên quan tới Pton. Ông ấy đã làm công trình nghiên cứu ở Pton rồi chuyển đi nơi khác. Nói chung cũng có liên quan. Nhưng Nobel kinh tế thì quá đúng rồi."

Thế là tôi vào website của trường, và thấy những thông tin thú vị. Lần đầu tiên Pton có Nobel là Nobel Hòa bình của Woodrow Wilson năm 1919 . Từ đó đến nay, Pton có tất cả 32 giải, chia ra:
